History of the Naujawan Bharat Sabha

Naujawan Bharat Sabha was not only the precursor of HSRA, but also its public face, which simultaneously nurtured its core members. It was committed to work in close co-operation with the Congress so much so that their provincial conferences were held on the same dates and at the same venue alternately. Its manifesto not only fore shadowed the ideological moorings of HSRA, but it also went beyond the politico-ideological domain by taking social agenda too in its stride. The sweep of the writing is comprehensive enough to take into account all the contemporary political developments thereby making it a rich source of country’s history in its own right.
