This book is first of its kind which provides a simplified insight and explanation of the history, production and service of all the alcoholic beverages with the help of illustrations and flowcharts so that the student has a better comprehension. It is designed as per the syllabus of the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) for the undergraduate students of Hospitality and Hotel Administration as well other diploma and craft courses. The students have an access to the terminologies and sample question papers which gives them an idea about the level of knowledge expected in the examination simultaneously keeping them abreast with latest trends in alcoholic beverages which shall aid them in the preparations for campus recruitments.
Suyasha Gupta is a faculty at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management Catering and Nutrition, Chandigarh sponsored by Ministry of Tourism Govt of India. She has worked with the Oberoi Group of Hotels and Resorts and is into academics since 9 years. She has been awarded for Academic Excellence in B.Sc. (H&HA) on National level by Ministry of Tourism and NCHMCT. She is a certified hospitality trainer, a French language trainer and has master’s degree in Tourism Management and Business Administration.
