Tejinder Singh, MD, DNB, M Sc (HPE), MA (Distance Education), PG Diploma in Higher Education, Diploma in Training and Development, FAMS and FIAP; is NAMS Emeritus Professor, and Chair Professor, Center for Health Professions Education, Adesh University, Bathinda. Founder Director of CMCL-FAIMER Regional Institute, he was National Convener and Consultant for the Advance Course in Medical Education run by Medical Council of India and member of Expert Group for competency-based curriculum and Curriculum Implementation Support Program. He has been awarded Dr B C Roy National Award; National Board of Examinations Eminent Alumnus Award; IMA Medical Education and Research Award for Young Graduates and Lifetime Achievement Award in addition to numerous other awards, prizes, medals and Fellowships. He has delivered numerous Orations and Keynote addresses, in India and abroad. He did his Advance Course in Medical Education (ACME) in 2014 and is a fellow of Foundation for Advancement in International Medical Education and Research, (CMCL-FAIMER). He has authored 4 books, 20 chapters, and over 130 papers, with H Index of 21. He was awarded Dr. Krishan Kumar Mishra Memorial Oration Award for Academic Leadership in 2022 by Andhra Pradesh State Medical Education Society. He is Editor in Chief of two indexed journals – International Journal of Applied and Basic Medical Research, and Adesh University Journal of Medical Sciences and Research. He is Dean Academic Affairs of Adesh University. He was awarded his PhD in Health Professions Education for his research work in the field of professional identity formation of medical educators.
