Revolutionaries in Dialogue- Lala Ram Saran Dass and Shaheed Bhagat Singh

395.00

By a quirk of fate a mystic-theist like Lala Ram Saran Dass a Ghadrite veteran of 1914-15 fame on the one hand and a hard core atheist like Bhagat Singh joined to make a bonafide endeavour to understand each other’s philosophy of life to discern identity in their avowedly polarized visionary perspectives. Talwar had penned an epic poem “The Dreamland” while he was in solitary confinement in madras jail during 1926 undergoing the last leg of his life sentence. Upon his release in 1927 he joined hands with HSRA and Naujawan Bharat Sabha and was again tried in the case. Bhagat Singh ‘Introduction’ to “the Dreamland” was written in his death cell a few weeks before his martyrdom, on 15.01. 1931 to be precise.
