ਸਦਾ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਨਬਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣ ਕੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਦੀ ਖ਼ੂਬੀ ਪੱਤਰਕਲਾ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਅਟੁੱਟ ਅੰਗ ਮੰਨੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਖੋਜਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਦਰਭ ਵਿਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਏ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਅਣਗੌਲਿਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਖੋਜਕਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਪੂਰਨ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਸਫਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

ਸਦਾ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਨਬਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣ ਕੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਦੀ ਖ਼ੂਬੀ ਪੱਤਰਕਲਾ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਅਟੁੱਟ ਅੰਗ ਮੰਨੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਖੋਜਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਦਰਭ ਵਿਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਏ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਅਣਗੌਲਿਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਖੋਜਕਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਪੂਰਨ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਸਫਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

-ਹਾਂ, ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਾ, ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਾ, ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਾ।’ ਮਾਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ’ਤੇ ਪੈਰ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹਿਆ, ਪਰ ਸ਼ਰਾਬੀ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਥਿੜਕ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਿਆ।
ਗੁਲਾਬ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਚੂੜੀਆਂ ਲਾਹ ਕੇ, ਮਾਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਉੱਪਰ ਵਗਾਹ ਮਾਰੀਆਂ :
